    toshiba 50L3400U screen blinking

my buddy asked me to look at a tv for him and said it started blinking black and going back to display and so on.. so i had it for about a week or so but someone in my house misplaced the remote or i lost it.. either way. is there any other way to rest the settings since the tv dont have a menu button, only input, power vol up and down .

    without remote.
i tryed to basics, holding down power button while not pluged in.. holding power on till it comes on. etc.. the tv when tested on playstation when its dimmed but not full bright like in idle mode. it dims to like half bright as a power saver, well it wont do it then. but soon as come out of idle it will start when the screen brightens back out. so my question is .. is there any other way. without remote, using computer thru hdmi, comcast remote, samsung s7 , ipad4 to get to the menu, or can i take the back off and pull the internal battery, i understand its a led light issue, just trying to see if its what the problem is since i dont have a remote to reset the settings. and what is involved in the part testing. thanks again guys.. hopefully someone ran into this same issue.

Macbook 2017 with touchbar (A1706) won't turn on after removing the screen
    by Ryan.man
Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!

My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.

This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen...

Brother DCP-L2540DW scanner/printer - only showing blinking screen in LCD.
    by Sam Scarbo
I got this broken printer from my brother who got it from the street. He asked me to help to fix it.

I need help on fixing this machine.

    Issues/Observations:

    1) When connected to power, it's not working. Only showing blinking screen on the LCD. See pics 1 and 2. It is blinking every 2 seconds.

    2) I pressed the buttons on the control panel to see if there is any response. The "Options" button can turn off the LCD screen, and then press hold the power button for about 1 second can turn the blinking screen back on again. Other than...

    Toshiba 50UL4B63DG faulty screen?
    by sigmeyer
I got this 50 inch tv the screen starts off with almost nothing visible but the top part of it , and it would slowly kick in and the picture would be visible , but then over time it would go greyish with the top of it mostly intact. I did have instance where the screen would be fucked like that and i would touch the cpu and memory to see if it would react and a couple times it would screech on the speakers and restart. After that it would show a better picture somewhat but afterwards i touch the cpu and not much is achieved. Im wondering is this a screen fault or should i pursue this with a donor...

Macbook Air M2 A2681 Kernel panics after screen replacement
    by reformatt
Just had a customer bring in a M2 MBA A2681 that had had a screen replacement in April at another repairer. Since then, she has been getting intermittent kernel panics. It's an aftermarket screen, and of course it fails in diagnostics as the calibration hasn't been done. The error in the panic log is "No device added after powering on the rails".

It seems the original repairer has swapped the board and the screen to other MAC's, and said that it isn't a screen issue. From what I understand, by doing a quick search on Google, this is in fact a screen issue. The panic relates...
