was told first sound but no pic . picked it up and he said thats not correct info on fault . no problem anyway as never listen to customer .
brought it home and plugged in . powered up no problem and fully working . 1 hour later it dies . no pic to be seen with torch . removed rear panel and powered on whilst laying flat . everything working again so tapped power board and set goes on and off etc . removed supply and re-soldered transformer as joints broken . replaced all electrolytic through hole caps for good measure as 2 swollen in there .
i didnt even test before putting rear cover on .. and yes it worked fine after cover on
