Toshiba HD crt tv 36HF71 osd menu shakes

Me again

I have a nice 36 inch hd crt tv but its stored in garage unheated

Its 20degrees f now

I plug it in and power it on and the osd menu shakes bad

Is that due to cold?

Does it stop shaking after it warms up. It could be caused by the degausing circuit not cutting out. the thermister is so cold it keeps the degausing circuit on.
On another note, if you bring it in somewherw warm from the cold, let it sit for a day before using it, the large mass of the crt will get condisation on it (cold water in a glass, moisture on outside of glass). this needs to evaporate or there could be arcing etc.

Yes after few minutes it went away and seems fine...could be cold issue and .yes could have condesation issues its been in garage...all winter and its been cold here in michigan....

Damn tv weighs over 200lbs lol

Its been running for past 2 hrs outside...seems ok but i will turn off ...dont want to risk arcing

If it is outside where it is cold, it will be fine, its only if you bring it into a warm place that the condesation would happen.
Like that cold bottled beer in the summer
