Re: EEPROM Programmer
Not struggling yet. Just ordered the programmer above and never did a chip before. I need to know where to get the bin files then maybe a step by step with the software. I'm not a n00b to TV repair. I always just bought the pre-programmed chips but thought I could save a bit of time and money especially time because everyone wants the TV fixed TODAY! and do not realize parts need to get ordered sometimes. Years ago I messed with re-programming satellite cards so not exactly new with programming either. If we can get some pro's to chime in maybe this can be a sticky instructional thread?? I would also be willing to pay for private help if necessary. I also hope to lean how to reprogram a bios in a laptop as some I get are locked. I work for Midwest Electronics Recycling and am in charge of repairing what can be repaired and re-sold.

EEPROM Programmer
Does anybody use an EEPROM programmer for TVs? I'm seeing more TVs with EEPROMS messed up and wanted to get my own programmer and do it. Please chime in if you have any advise.Tags: None
