hi guys picked up this set screen looks good...didn't come with power supply so used the power supply off my main TV which is the same.. plugged it in and...pop.. the fuse blows on the plug..now the plug i used was a 250v 3amp this tv on the back says 100-240v 1amp could the higher voltage plug have caused the fuse to blow or is that silly ? lol or could it be something on power supply at fault that causes this?

not had chance to open it up yet which i will in due course!

managed to open it up and several components have blown the fuse being the main one... ive desoldered all the blown components but cannot make out what some of them are as they are badly damaged... power supply number is bn44-00504c and i cant find any info on this board..would it be worth trying to repair this or just buy a replacement board?
