samsung un75h6350 bad side driver ic, should i remove?

the tv stay on for a minute then the top half goes all green lines with faint picture through it then blank. i can feel the heat from the top right driver ic through the frame. im wondering if what works for the sharp 70 inch side driver ic removal will work with this. i included a picture of the fault. i put a fan on it and now it says on longer.

the question i really want to know is if i can just remove the one that has failed.

it would be nice to know only one of the ic will be struggling on the left side.

i read a post about a person removing one at a time and i got clearer each time.

i was also gonna try to possibly heat sink it somehow to the frame.

Probably over heating because it is faulty/shorting and pulling excess current.
Go ahead and try removing the tab bonds. The screen already bad so the most that could happen is a fix...try it.

i know this set is know to have sharp,optronics, Samsung panels, i am unable to find how to decipher how from a guide i found.


i just need to know if i only can remove just the one and wait for a friend to help maneuver this beast.

also what would help reduce stress on the single driver ic , brightness, contrast, ect?

I heat sinked it to the frame with some thermal paste and it now stayed on for half an hour. gets so dam hot i dont know its not catching fire. I know its doing more har than good and figure i would watch it for a bit b4 i do the surgery. Im pretty sure in it state it will troast the tcon. Thers is still a translounent line that appeared in a whil because its still getting really hot. I would really like to know if you can remove just one?

Well i did it and the panel is half as bright. Not disturbing for me because it was already so bright i would turn it down. I turned down the settings anyways to put less stress on the left side. You have remove all or there will be dark spots. I could not rip them off with my fingers so i cut them scissors.
