Samsung un55eh6000f Powers on the instant it is plugged in -Backlight-no picture.
I disconnected remote sensor and button array - same thing, it lights up LED backlight looks bright and good, no picture and no response.
I disconnected main board from power supply, it still lights up the same. Am I crazy or is this just a bad power supply. I don't think the LED backlights should come on when only the power supply is plugged in. Also note the backlight connector is the ONLY thing connected to the power supply now.

You've got a bad main board on your hands. The power supply has a built in pull up portion that is active with the main board disconnected. The fact that the screen lights up proves that it's functioning properly. Main boards for this model are very cheap. Should be a low cost fix.

+1 At least you didn't waste money on power supply before posting. Your main board sounds dead. Probably missing voltage, bad regulator

Double thanks... i got one for under $30.. was last one at that price, just in the nick of time.
I believe your diagnosis since i had another LED TV fool me recently. I thought it was the power supply but it was the main board. I was checking voltages and had no standby 3.3V or 5v on the power supply. After the new one was the same.. i unplugged the main board from the P. supply and the voltages were there ready. I ordered the main board and it was fixed. Cost me 4 or 5 dollars for return shipping to learn that lesson. However the LED backlights were on a plug on the main board in that case.
I got a LED back light tester that works really good for LED diagnosis now. It inserts the voltage and give me the voltage and current draw. Saved me the cost of it in the first day. Just google search LED back light tester to get best prices. Handy little tool.
I am not affiliated with the people who make them I just used the device and liked it.

Hello guys.I don't want to start a new thread.I believe I have the same exact issue?

My TV model number: UN60EH6003F
Type number: UN60EH6003

I have no picture apart from a light blue tint.I have sound and the light in front blinks 6-7 times and stops.

I removed one by one the ribbon cables from the T-Con board but still no picture.Then I disconnected the ribbon cable from the power supply board to the main board and all the lights on the back, light up bright.

From what I searched and eventually found in this thread, it most likely is the mainboard or should I check anything else?

If so my question is that my main board model number is : BN97-O6989B 0175 but I could only find a main board with with a model number : Bn97-06989b

Should work.
Might be for a different panel but you can change it in the service menu.

I did not mention that my neighbor, was about to throw this out so he gave it to me.I assume it is a menu option?

Quick update. It was the main board. i replaced it and VIOLA! no troubles.
