Sony KDL-40S2010 was on the trash pile bad caps

Found this TV at side of the road-----> sitting all by it self just waiting for someone to pick up

Found three 1500uf@25 volts had pop there lids KZH

I did not have 1500uf@25 volt ones ----> left side of the photo

So I put four 1000@35 volt KY ones -----> that all I have in my parts bin that would fit and had the right voltage rating I know it is 500uf off of what was in there is that going to be a problem

The TV works good but the four caps that are together they are little warm to touch and this is after running for 30 minutes is this going to be a problem

Here is a photo of the screen of that TV set it has a very good

The TV set has run for 3 hours and seems fine so far

Use the 1000uF caps as a temporary measure. If you can't get 1500uF use 2200uF. And yes it was OK to use 35V in place of 25V caps. So in essence replace for normal us the 1500uF 25V caps with 2200uf 35V as the 2200s may be easier to get. A little warm is 'normal' too for some caps. Good luck.
