Before you scrap it,I would be curious and dig into the panel, turn it on without mainboard and see if all led's light up. 55" smart tv is worth fighting for I'd say

TV lights up with the main board disconnected. Main board is causing the issue, but a replacement is too expensive.

        Re: Samsung UN55D6003SFXZA not working

Just revisiting this... I disconnected both the main board AND the LED connections, and noticed the voltages at the power supply pins cycle up and down - is this supposed to happen? There seems to be a sound (sounds like a cricket, if that helps) coming from TM801S every ~4 seconds, and after 90 seconds or so it stops making that sound. After disconnecting the power, the sound continues a few times before stopping. Does this mean the power supply board is bad?

I've copied the pin readings from my previous readings for comparison and added the high and low readings with main board and LED disconnected.

        CNL802 (connection to LED)
With only the main board disconnected:
        Pin 1 (VF+) = 325VDC peak, 322VDC steady state
        Pin 3 ( - ) = 162VDC peak and steady state
        Pin 5 ( + ) = 162VDC peak and steady state
Pin 7 (Dim-) = 1.1VDC peak and steady state
        Pin 9 (IF2) = 0.6VDC peak and steady state
        Pin 10 (IF1) = 0VDC steady state

        With everything hooked up:
        Pin 1 (VF+) = 328VDC peak, 297VDC steady state
        Pin 3 ( - ) = 200VDC peak, 177VDC steady state
        Pin 5 ( + ) = 210VDC peak, 177VDC steady state
        Pin 7 (Dim-) = 90VDC peak, 62VDC steady state
        Pin 9 (IF2) = 0.6VDC peak and steady state
        Pin 10 (IF1) = 0VDC steady state

With main board and LED disconnected:
Pin 1 (VF+) = 400VDC peak, drops in voltage, goes back to 400VDC after every other sound.
        Pin 3 ( - ) = 0.001VDC
        Pin 5 ( + ) = 0.001VDC
        Pin 7 (Dim-) = 0VDC
Pin 9 (IF2) = 0.6VDC peak, drops to 0VDC, goes back to 0.6VDC after every sound.
        Pin 10 (IF1) = 0VDC steady state

        CNL803 (connection to main board)
With only the main board disconnected:
        Pin 1 (N.C.) = 0VDC
        Pin 2 (N.C.) = 0VDC
        Pin 3 (B13V) = 12.74VDC
        Pin 4 (EPWM) = 3.209VDC
        Pin 5 (B13V) = 12.74VDC
        Pin 6 (N.C.) = 0VDC
        Pin 7 (Vamp) = 16.41VDC
        Pin 8 (BLU_ON) = 3.005VDC
        Pin 9 (Vamp) = 16.41VDC
        Pin 10 (GND) = 0VDC
        Pin 11 (GND) = 0VDC
        Pin 12 (GND) = 0VDC
        Pin 13 (B5V) = 5.37VDC
        Pin 14 (A5V) = 5.37VDC
        Pin 15 (B5V) = 5.37VDC
        Pin 16 (PS-ON) = 3.359VDC

        With everything hooked up:
        Pin 1 (N.C.) = 0VDC
        Pin 2 (N.C.) = 0VDC
        Pin 3 (B13V) = 12.71VDC
        Pin 4 (EPWM) = 0.007VDC
        Pin 5 (B13V) = 12.71VDC
        Pin 6 (N.C.) = 12.66VDC
        Pin 7 (Vamp) = 18.88VDC
        Pin 8 (BLU_ON) = 0.14VDC
        Pin 9 (Vamp) = 18.88VDC

        Pin 14 (A5V) = 5.36VDC
        Pin 15 (B5V) = 5.35VDC
        Pin 16 (PS-ON) = 3.30VDC

With main board and LED disconnected:
        Pin 1 (N.C.) = 0VDC
        Pin 2 (N.C.) = 0VDC
Pin 3 (B13V) = ~15VDC peak, drops almost to 0VDC, goes back to ~15VDC after every sound.
Pin 4 (EPWM) = 2.9VDC peak, drops almost to 0VDC, goes back to 2.9VDC after every sound.
Pin 5 (B13V) = ~15VDC peak, drops almost to 0VDC, goes back to ~15VDC after every sound.

So,I have the identical tv on the bench here and it has bad led's.
Now when I have the mainboard connected it almost always triggers a fault and shuts down,BUT if I disconnect the mainboard the backlight comes on.
Looking at it in a dark room I can clearly see a quarter section of the led's is not lit up!
          These are side lit,both sides.
Conclusion I'm making is that the powerboard by it self does not trigger for led fault.

I'm about to dig into this one,if you want pictures or measurements, let me know.
