Problems with Samsung UE55ES7000
- the tv power up great first time, if i want to change channel to a HD channel, image is freezing and restart ( not allways ) . Appers Smart TV LOGO , no image, and still restarting, i have to unplug from power line and wait few minutes.

- If i let the tv to History HD for exemple, i try to increase the volume , freeze and restart.
- the wireless module is broken , and i try software update by usb.
- I think mainbe is a problem with graphic chip or memory ? possible to need a reballing ?

did you disconnect the wifi socket since its had error,?

also try Disable BT and check HD programm

I remove WI-FI module , o will try to disable bluetooth from service menu. and try again.

and if still not working ?

i forget to tell you ,sometimes the tv power up , only logo , no command from remote, and restarts....

dont do it from service menu to disable BT. just plug it out as you did with wifi, after that u should make hard reset from service menu.. and check urs HD

i just read your edit, yes this fault known by UE ES7xxx and UE ES8xx and it was the reason of wifi . BT , smart hub and firmware update

i remove today bluetooth module, i try to search for channels , and the tv frezee and restart, after that , works !

Tomorrow i will test only with HD channels , and turn on/off.

I need to update or install firmware ? a working version or latest version ?

latest version of course.. and if you find early 0.0.0.0 version of firmware will be better that you can reset errors record of wifi

Common issue is the Psu to Mb power cable failing and corroding check the Sm for this tv.

I check and seems to be old problem with 5v rail , but , now the ci+ chip fail .

how can i change the chip of ci+ ?

i solve the problem of bad connection between power board and mainboard, now i have to solve the problem with CI+ error

Ok , and to reset error ? how can i do this ? from service menu ?

The last firmware, when i want to update , tells me that no files on usb .

for error reset and hack the service menu you should downgrade it to the 0000,

CI+ had nothing to do with firmware.. there are allot working arround on the web how to trick it to ride of error.

I tested with 2 ci adapters, still not working,
i get this error if i press mute+247+exit

any help with this problem ? where is the chip that is for CI+ ? can you find schematic for this board ?

i think you are doing wrong,
with this series ES you cant just CI+ module alone to install with out any program signal supported by module. this mean.

first turn the TV ( program ) channel on sender used CI+, after that turn the TV to standby and then put the module at CI socket with out Smart Card. turn on the Tv it will identification and install the module, after it registered put the Smart Card in the module.

between after you downgrade the firmware and finished the error reset or any modification like region or turn on any other hidden service. you need to updrade the firmware to the last one as its support more CI modules .
