I have this Sharp LC-52D65U set--and all I get is the 1 blink..which means lamp error. If I do the Input and volume down...it TRIES to come on, after a few seconds--I get a quick blink of the raster--then it goes down...BEFORE I see any sort of menu , etc.
I unhooked the error line from the master inverter--did not help. Obviously--the inverter is shutting down of its own accord. I have read there is a capacitor you can bridge that will keep the inverter from shutting down--and then you can see if you have a bad CCFL tube, etc--and see if the rest of the set works.
I have heard "C7558" but that was on a different set. I do NOT think that is the right one for this set. Does anyone here know what I am talking about--and which cap to bypass?
