Samsung UA40B7000 LED TV Clicking sound, Doesn't turn on.

Hello everyone, My Samsung led tv recently stopped working and the problem seems to be the mainboard as pointed out by the samsung tech guy. Sadly it cant be replaced as samsung doesn't have a spare board nor can i find it on the internet. The problem started after a sudden power outage while i was watching tv, settopbox connected to hdmi.

When i turn on the tv, the red power light blinks once and i hear a clicking sound inside the tv. Once the powersupply cable is removed from the mainboard, the clicking stops and the backlight lights up. Is there any way to repair the board? or are there any compatible boards that would go with my tv?

I have attached the model numbers of my mainboard and powersupply, Any tips/suggestions would be of great help!

    Thank you.

can i get a good picture that shows the entire mainboard? I just stripped a couple led samsungs, will check then if i have a mainboard. Sometimes different bn41 numbers can match.
On fixing your mainboard, you can try and measure all voltage regulators, maybe you get lucky and find a defective one. often eeprom just goes corrupt on power jolts like that.

Big white rectangular sticker, left and center of board, picture #1. It has a BN94-XXXXX number. That's the number you have to do a internet search for.

Managed to get an old board that worked but the hdmi ports are not working, when i choose hdmi in the source, the tv menu gets absurdly slow and shows searching for signal. Are there any alternatives to connect hdmi content to my tv, like hdmi to usb port of my tv?

Samsung UE60KU6079 backlight okay mainboard responsive, no picture, no sound
                  by Ierwin
                  Hello everyone,
Ive got a UE60KU6079 on the workbench that is giving me some headaches trying to troubleshoot.
The previous owner stated that there had been white dots on the screen which from the description sounded like some lenses fell of the backlight LEDs.
He had opened the TV from the back, trying to get to the backlight, supposedly gave up, reassebled everything and gave the TV to me.
I expected the worst like ripped COF cables or a cracked panel but could not find anything like that yet.
Anyway I still fully expect that there has been something seriously damaged...

Samsung UE49KS7000SXXH - fast clicking sound in standby mode

                  PSU - BN44-00878A

                  Symptoms:

The TV turned itself off, and I haven't been able to turn it back on. The standby voltage was unstable and lower than it should be.
A weak clicking sound was coming from the transformer.

                  Video with clicking sound:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lAduhjNtqCA

                  Progress:

After the transformer, I measured four Schottky diodes. DM862C and DM864C diodes readings were 003 in both directions. After detaching them from the circuit and measuring them, DM864C was the shorted one. These Schottky diodes are SB550.I...

[SOLVED] M1 MacBook Pro clicking sound logic board 5V no power on A2338 820-02020
                  by slimmy182
Hello, I bought this Mac from a friend, he said that it simply stop working. The MacBook looks very clean but does not power on, stuck on 5v 0.42A, and sometimes display 5V and 0A (then 0.071A and again 0A).

I opened it looking for some problem, it was not touched before for sure and the board is very clena, no spot of corrosion at all from what I can see. Voltage on multimeter of the board off the case it's the same, 5V 0.42A. But then I noticed this "clicking sound" come from the board ( I attached here the audio file).

Looking on google I found this:...

what i went through dealing with my mobo with dead onboard sound!
                  by ChaosLegionnaire
so i took out one of my spare gigabyte ep35-ds3r mobos from storage for use to do some cpu, ram and video card testing of stuff i bought from ebay and got for free from momaka. he bought 50 e8400 cpus for cheap from ebay some years ago and i decided to help him relieve him of some of his supply since he had waaaay too many!! what did we say about hoarding too much stuff and depriving others of them?! *cough* socialism *cough* lol!

i had to blow some dust off the board and heatsinks with the datavac as i didnt clean it up before putting it in storage. after finishing...
