    Samsung LN37A450C1D has inverted video

Hopefully this'll be more of a fun one . I've got this Samsung 37" LCD that powers up, but has a mighty unusual picture. It would appear that the colors are almost the inverse of what they are supposed to be; not really sure what to make of it. The issue persists on all inputs and on the menus.

I did find one puffed capacitor on the power supply which I am in the process of replacing, but that doesn't seem like the sort of thing that would cause this type of problem.

    Any ideas?

More likely it has failed AS15 GAMMA IC on the T-CON board. AUOPTO LCD panel?

It looks to be an AUOPTO brand panel, but there is no model sticker visible on it anywhere identifying it. I'm having a heck of a time getting to the T Con board on this thing though. It is mounted upside down and I can see some kind of model number at the bottom ("37T03-C01"), but am having trouble working out how to actually replace the part. The board is under a metal plate, which I can't figure out how to remove. Do you or anyone else have any tips for removing it?

        solved!

Figured it out! Had to disconnect most of the cabling and unscrew screws holding the bottom half of the metal framework in place. Officially, you're supposed to unscrew them all and take the whole thing out, but "ain't nobody got time for that" . Lifting it up a few inches created enough of a gap to get the metal T CON cover out of there, followed by the T CON board itself.

This Samsung (or AU Optronics, as the case may be) is as good as new with that fresh T CON, even if it did take a whole lot more effort than it should've to get it replaced.
