Pioneer Kuro 428XD Any Known Faults ?

Im the proud owner of the amazing 42" Pioneer Kuro PDP428XD Hd Plasma Tv. This Tv was made in September 2007 so just over 8 years old it has 19,123 hours on the clock. This tv is very nice, perfect image for a Tv of this age (one of the best ive seen apart from OLED) it has a CR of 16000:1 which is very good as CR makes a good image over all not just the resolution of the display, the sound quality is also excellent with some good bass!

Anyway the purpose of this thread is to see if anyone knows of if there are any issues at all with these sets ? In my opinion these are probably one of the best built and most reliable 42" Tvs ever made. Literally I can only find two cases of failure on the internet. One being Failed scan Ic and other a Psu related fault. Apart from that nothing out there. Not one reported issue of a screen failure or any other hardware apart from the Psu and scan Ics maybe sus drive boards but cant find anything.

Great example of great build quality and engineering here hopefully this lasts for many years to come

Pioneer Kuro Pro 111FD 8 red blink error
    by pixelcap
Pioneer Kuro Pro 111FD 8 blink red LED.

I have been trying to solve the power-down 8-blink red LED problem with my Pioneer.

So far I have replaced the power supply board, and the digital assembly board, I have reconnected the ribbons to all boards, ensuring the connections are good. Even though the problem is the 8 red light error and not the more common 8 blue light error code, I had Kcrownie,
based in North Carolina replace the chips that cause the 8 blue LED problem (the main board and audio board) the plasma is still powering...

Pioneer Kuro KRP-500 picture turns black
    by PowerAmpFreak
This Pioneer Kuro KRP-500 plasma display has an intermittent issue in that it the picture turns black suddenly.
    Sound works all the time.
Powerled is on all the time.
This set has a separate control box which for a few years had a similair problem which was fixed by replacing a number of voltage regulators.
Quite a common issue as fas as I know.
Question is: are there more of the notorius voltage regulators also inside the display unit which should be replaced?
    Other advice?
There are not a common cause which makes the issue. Can work for two days,...

    Pioneer Kuro KRL-37V issue
    by thie
I have a Pioneer Kuro KRL-37V LCD TV with a problem. It's about 12 years old and was used as our main TV for about 9 years, it's now
been moved to the guest appartment.
I decommisioned it because after 4-6 years, don't quite remember when exactly, the follwing issue started popping up:
When I power on the TV it initially works fine. As an example I plug in a chromecast and it will play
several hours before the problem begins: a single green pixel will appear on the screen and stay green/become stuck.
If I now switch the TV to a different input channel on which...

Pioneer PL-X9 motor speed control wobble
    by Bushcat
I'm starting to re-cap a Pioneer PL-X9 turntable, specifically the motor control board, because although everything tests out OK according to the service manual, the speed wavers slightly despite the quartz lock light remaining on. So, I've decided to re-cap that board since it's the cheapest next step...

Pioneer's passive component naming convention is clear to me. For example, CSZA R22M 35 is tantalum, radial leads, 0.22uF, 20%, 35V.

BUT there are two capacitors on the board which have actual Pioneer part numbers: PCL-042. I can tell they are 0.1uF, 16V but don't...
