    Mares well get the beast up and working. Have you fixed the Ymain ? Also I suggest you resolder a few things on the Psu after the susboard repair.

      Not yet as I was thinking on just dumping it.
      but those buffers look cheap enough.

        Ahh why after repair add some fans and heatsinks to the Ysus and scan IC's these are rock solid Tv's.

          i understand scan ic's on the y upper and lower ic's.
          but what will i be heatsinking on the y main(Ysus)

          I have lost the old mosfets from the lower drive would you be able to tell me what they are please
          .

                  i now have two good lower boards and two bad upper boards.
                  New upper buffer is bad too.

                    Are you sure your Ysus isnt killing it ? Did you replace the controller for the 88n30w fets ? I would do so as when they fail sometimes the controller keeps them on at full whack like its running Vset up ramp which kills the buffer. Way to test this is seeing if the buffers are getting very hot and no image if so unplug it straight away if you dont Ydrive kills the buffer. Sometimes it will get image but be stuck on a very washed out white picture with lines in the image appearing.
