    Samsung Un55EH6000F Panel Problem?

I think I know the answer, but I'd like a few others to look at this. If you look closely at the [picture, the bottom 1/4 and right 1/3 of the screen is good/normal. the remaining part of the screen seems to have an interlace? problem? For example, in the attached picture, the text on the screen "If the self diagnosis test... " is written twice and fades out.

I think this is panel fault, given how it has a fade to it. Any thoughts?

The standard test here is to disconnect one side of the panel from the tcon and see if you have good pic on half screen. I would concur though looks like panel fault. Could try stripping it down to check out the tab bonding.

When I disconnect the left side of the tcon, the picture displays normally on the right side (no overlay/deinterlace). When I disconnect the right side of the tcon, the left side of the picture looks the same as above.

Does that tell me anything more about tcon vs. panel?

        It's a bad panel I'm afraid.

You are left to tear down to the panel ribbons and monkey with them to see if you have a lousy connection somewhere. I have no familiarity with that likelihood with this model but it is a last resort if you so choose.
