Problem with Samsung TV after Factory Reset!!!!

Hello everyone!!

My problem is with TV-Samsung LE37A686M1F.
I make a factory reset of my tv and all it's over for me
making short circuit of my eeprom (at least I think that's it's my eeprom) but nothing changes.
Please Help me to fount a problem and repair it!!

What's the board number?
You sure that's the EEPROM? what's the chip called?

How long are you shorting the pins together? It should only be for one second as soon as power is applied to the TV.

The main board number is BN40-00120A
I am not sure that's a EEPROM - number of chip(IC5107) , i shorting a pins maybe 3 second and cut the wire.

That is the EEPROM,
trial and error, literally plug the TV and instantly remove the short. It's quicker just to stand the board on its side and use a small flat screwdriver.

3 seconds it probably too long.

Tomorrow I'll try again as you say 1 second, because TV is in my office i cannot try it now

Hello guys !!
The problem are resolved by reset a EEPROM, but the problem that prompted me to factory reset are still there at my screen .... Any ideas ??

Most likely, that is a bad LCD panel. Unfortunately it will not be repairable if that is the case.

mhm clear.
the problem is not tooo bad after 20 min maybe they are almost invisible..
big problem it was after factory reset when the picture are lost...
