ok, this is correct? and all other components need to be connected right? earlier, u said to disconnect a few, i plugged them back to complete this test.

I forgot. Also disconnect the ribbon cable that goes between the main board and control boards. To remove it, carefully flip up the latch and tug on one end. You only need to disconnect it on one end.

After this, you should be good to go. Check what the LED on the control board does. If it's blinking steady, once every second or so, you should be getting test patterns.

Update: I bought a new power supply board and my tv turns on now. Thank you for your help!
