the parts are ic101 and c102 on main board

can someone tell me the ic101 part descriptions so i can order myself...and does c102 replace have to be 100uf?..if not what range of values could be used? i see someone usef 47uf and it worked.

10uF (tantalum) was originally supplied, you can increase the capacity (22, 33, 47... 100uF), nothing bad will happen.

here is a partial pic of my tcon.

i have 12v at the VIN pad....and at the V12V pad i have 0v...using the gnd pad for both...how can i rule out a bad tcon causing no image?

thanks will check it .not sure how i missed it...guess i was looking for a F lsbel for fuse normally F1 and didnt see it...overlooked it ....i did swap tcons prior and no change...the odds of both boards having blown fuses not likely but is possible..should i have 12v at the v12v test point?.....if fuse is ok then what?

Samsung UN55NU7300F Curved TV. Half side backlight out. Fixed by just removing the rear snap cover
                      by howardc64
TV was fixed just after removing Samsung's rear snap cover.

This curved TV's construction is rather interesting. When the snapped on back is removed, rest of the TV will relax the curvature. Top of LCD panel is loose as it wants to straighten out against the slightly curved bezel. Snapped back provide most of the curvature shape. So just simple disassembly of rear cover will allow the rest of the TV frame to relax its curvature. Thats probably what fixed it but no idea which connection. 4x LEDs are edge lit.

Maybe PSU->backlight connector didn't have a good contact?...
