lg 42ld450 won't turn on light goes blue then flashes red continously

Hi all I have this tv when I try and turn it on the power light goes blue with no lamps lit then after 10-15 seconds goes back to red and flashes

Whilst the light is blue I have all voltages etc
There are no blown fuses etc

When its flashing red there's no voltages

Any ideas please

Most likely bad main board, it is a common fault on these, no fix (aside from board swap) AFAIK.

Worth checking if inverter will light up w/out main connected - you will have to jumper the right pins - I had an LG 37LH5000 and noted that it would go to standby after about 30 seconds if the backlight failed to light... it would try pulsing BL ON/OFF three times then gave up.

Thought the inverter was on the power supply board on this model whichj pins to jump without mainboard tom

There are guides on this forum or you can search. I've repeated myself enough already.
Briefly PS-ON and BL-ON should be all you need to do.
