Tv apparently loses sound once it gets hot tested voltages on the psu all seem ok,tried warming up the main/psu with hairdryer to see if the sound cuts out
but running it now to see if volume goes

anyone else had issue`s with this problem on the above model

oh and when the tv is in standby then turn on via the remote the light blinks 5-6 before tv comes on

I have the 40" model - blinks are normal when powering up. What's BN44 number on PSU?

There's a 12.8V and 12V line. The 12V is probably for audio, try checking that when audio gives issues.
Also usual checks for int. faults - hairdryer over some parts see if fault occurs quicker.
