Samsung ln40a530p1fxza turns on then screen goes green and get a loud screeching soun

Hello Everyone,

I have a Samsung 40" LCD that works fine for about 10-15 minutes then all of a sudden the screen goes green and puts out loud screeching sound.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can anyone tell me if these are symptoms of bad caps or bad main board?

More likely bad main board than capacitors. It is a common fault on this model.

By chance, Would a main board from s Samsung LN40B540P8F work in the Samsung ln40a530p1fxza?

I have an LN40B540P8F that has very little hours on it that has a cracked screen.

I doubt it would. The technology changed considerably from A-series to B-series.

^ no two totally different mainboard structures. Not compatible.

this is a main board issue. Check ebay for board repair.
