Westinghouse VR-3215 Color issues - any ideas?

Hello everyone, I stumbled across this forum last week and after my introduction post, I'm just trying to see if anyone can possibly shed some light as to what might be wrong with my tv?

We bought the Westinghouse VR-3215 as a black friday deal a few years ago from Target and it worked great for about a month. Soon after we experienced issues with the picture quality, where everything looked like color banding, where the blacks were flickering black/green...where the color was just majorly off and the picture quality was garbage. We left the tv off for about a week, and it was fine again. Then about another week later, the same thing.

Since then we've replaced it, but I've had hopes that it's possibly a quick fix that I could make to put this down in the basement by the treadmill. If anyone could provide any insight as to what might be the problem and what possibly I should look into replacing on this I would greatly appreciate it!

I've attached a photo of the tv for reference. I hope it helps!

It looks like GAMMA problems in T-CON board.
We need the pictures of the boards. You can try reseating the LVDS cable between the mainboard and the T-CON board.

Heres a similar issue, I never did fix the fault I gave up on it as the tv wasn't worth anything.

This is not PLASMA TV, it is LCD TV.

Check LVDS cable clean and fully seated both ends.
Gamma problem usually affects all colours, so I'm not sure it is.
