samsung LN32B360C5DX2C

Does anyone know where I can get a service manual for the samsung LN32B360C5DX2C LCD tv. I can turn on the power and I hear the chime. The power LED is solid and red, but no video. I checked all the voltages and they are all good, but I did get 0.4V on the DET_5V pin. The sync pin was also 0v. Its very difficult to troubleshoot without a service manual. Does anyone know where I can find one and if not, any suggestions.

Do you get backlights?
The power supply-inverter board P/N? BN44-XXXXX?

In turned off all the lights and in the dark I don't see any backlights. BN44-00289B, its a p/s inverter on one board

I get 5.2v on the inverter on/off pin. Does this mean the inverter is ok?

That means the inverter is receiving the correct signal from the main board to turn on the backlights.
Did you see the backlights even flash on for seconds?
Check the DC Voltage right on the two legs of the main filter cap (450VDC Cap laying on its side), it should have around 170VDC when TV is OFF and >360VDC when TV is ON.

I get 157V with power on and power off. not getting the 360V.

OK, PFC Voltage booster is working. I will have to look at the diagram of the board to see how it works.
In the mean time, you may want to read through some of these thread based on the same power supply board as yours.

thanks for the link to the other thread. I found the problem, DP805 was shorted.Removed one leg to check and it is 0 ohms both ways.

That is strange that you still get 360VDC output with the shorted out PFC Diode.

I wasn't getting 360v. With the power on all i got was 157v.

no worries budm. I really appreciate the help from you. If I didn't check out the link you put in post 9, I wouldn't have thought of checking the diodes. I am going to replace the other 2 diodes just to be safe.
