    Vizio P50HDTV20A Power Issue

I found a Vizio P50HDTV20A 50in Plasma on the side of the road. I figured it might be fixable so I grabbed it.
When plugged in the light in front is amber and turns green when turned on. Nothing shows up on the screen and I do hear the speakers pop slightly when turned on.
The power board is a Samsung PSPFS561A01A. For voltages I measured all the little pads I could find. All capacitors look fine. I did replace one one each of the Display Boards. (X and Z I think they are called?)
    Vs: 208
    Vg: 14.8
    5Vsb: 5.1
    A12V: 12.0
    Vamp: 23.6
    VT: 32.6
    D5V: 5.1
    D3V3: 3.4
    Va: 63.0
Everything was measured with the TV turned on and everything connected to the board.
The Green LED1 doesn't light up at all.
LED 2002 on the other smaller board constantly blinks.

All I have is a Multimeter to test things. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Did some more checking. The board with the heatsinks on it on the left when looking at it from the back I think has some shorted FETs (Components screwed to the heatsinks).
D5003, D5001, D5005 all have continuity between the 2 outside pins.
All of the fuses are good.

        Re: Vizio P50HDTV20A Power Issue

So the shorted FETs were on the Ymain and were any of them 88N30W?

Any signs of burns or holes in the upper buffer board ICs?

That setup is notorious for blowing the ymain and top buffer board and often in the samsungs we read sound , no picture.

Would not have a clue about Vizio. The LEDs, are we talking on the logic ctrl board for blinking? Is led 2002 on the logic ctrl? If blinking every second or 2 secs that's normal, means that board is running.

Is there a led on the ymain?

post pictures by going advanced, mnage attachments and upload, much easier.

LED5800, on the ymain next to the connector the flat white ribbon connects , is that lit when the TV is on?

              See this thread:

Check all the fuses on the Ysus board (Facing the rear of the TV, Left large rectangular board with 3 large heatsinks). 1 large white fuse and 3 small green fuses.

D5003,5001,5005 will be diodes and if they have 3 legs then the outer 2 are the same connection, eg A-K-A so outer 2 are anode to anode and will show short.

Here are some pics. I see no obvious damage on anything. LED5800 does NOT light up.

The buffer ic's take out the Y main on these Samsung panels.
