    Sony XBR-65x850F TV display

Hi all. I'm happy to be able to participate in this forum.
I have a Sony XBR-65x850F TV that lost its picture while we were watching it. The back light still works and it still has sound. I've done a factory reset several times without any change. I have replaced the main board and the T-conn board to no avail. When the tv is first turned on the display lights up as normal ,full color & clear images, but fades out after about 1-1/2 seconds. I thought it might be a power supply overheating but I've checked all the voltage outputs from the power board using the Sony service manual and they all appear to be good. The outputs for the backlight are ~92vdc which is higher than I saw on an earlier post. I can't tell from the service manual which specific outputs power the LCD and what voltage/current they require. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Upload a video of it going out. But sounds like a panel issue if you already replaced the main board and TCON and it doing the same thing.

Need good clear straight on pictures of every board and one of the whole back, as to see how everything is connected. a little something to check, if you have a separate ld/backlight board. Maybe check to see if the voltage is getting to it and out to the mainboard. I think it's probably 12 volts or so.

Well if you allready replaced main board and t-con, problem is in display. Check for voltages on tcon (AVDD, VGL, VGH...) while it is on, if there are none, try first with one side disconnected then with other. If you get voltages with one side disconnected, it's a problem on disconnected side of the panel, and then you can try tape fix on that side

EazyBone. Here's a video of the screen lighting up when the TV is turned on. This only happens about 30% of the time. The rest of the time only the backlight lights up.

nomoresonys. All cabling was doublechecked with both pictures I took before board replacement and with the Sony service manual.

tiki66. I can only find VGH on the t-con board and I don't have a probe small enough to check it without possibly shorting to something else. Also, I haven't exposed the LED/LCD panels yet and since replacements aren't available I'd have to replace the TV anyway.

          Thanks for everybody's reply's.
