I am looking at a 42" Plasma Samsung tv for a friend. when you plug the tv in all you hear is a solid click and then a fumble clicking noise. (several clicks that sound faint and fast together). and it does this over and over. I have tested the main fuse and the fuses on the right and left boards they tested good. but the fuse in the middle of the power supply I have circled in red is open. I wanted to know before I change the fuse what else I should test? thanks for all the help.

Re: Samsung HP-T4264 Clicking
Common problem with this model and psu. There are 4 FETs that need to be checked on the heatsink in the middle nearest the fuse. And there are some small smd resistors and diodes that also may have gone bad on the back side.
Here is the repair kit on ebay with all the parts:

Here's a thread of the problem and where the parts are located:

Re: Samsung HP-T4264 Clicking
I might be alittle confused about the smd resitors. I was told they are either 20ohm or 10k ohm I have included a picture. I thought the 101 means 100 ohm and the 1002 is 20k ohm? and what is the best way to test these. do they have to be out of circuit or can you test them in.

by jesteraceHi I wonder if anyone might be able to steer me in the right direction. I have this Samsung UE46ES8000 TV and it went bang during use. The main fuse on the PSU board is open. I've checked every diode/mosfet/transistor I can see and nothing appears to be short to cause the fuse to go. The DC output of the bridge rectifier is not short either. I've seen online that some of these models are known for having their PFC mosfet or other mosfets shorting and blowing the fuse but i'm not seeing that here. If anyone aware of these models having any issues to cause this? I'm reluctant to just replace the...

by beetle1303I gotten a Carver CM-1090 amplifier from a friend who has kept it in storage for decades. Opened it up, thick layer of dust cumulated everywhere. Vacuumed it semi-cleaned, and blown off as much as possible the remaining dust. This is a 220V version.
On initial powered up with nothing connected - it works with all the lights and button indicator lit up as pressed, etc. I then powered off, connected a CD player into the CD RCA input and powered it on. It seemed to work for a short while and when I turned the volume up and down to see the the VUs works, the power started to clicked off...3 Photos-
