    Component ID

Another stupid question... What is this and how do you test it in circuit? It is small, .05 X .2 maybe. Thanks.

        Possibly BST82.

Where in the circuit is it located?

OR maybe one for these - says marking is 02 P could be a country of manufacture and the 76 a date/batch code.

          DTC123TKA NPN 100mA 50V Digital Transistors

A picture of the actual item may help is there a logo on the casing anywhere

            Re: Component ID

Thanks you guys. I just got back from trying to get a good photo and I think I have one. I am out of time for today, but tomorrow I will clean it up a bit and post back. I will try to make a little sketch of the circuit and be a little more descriptive. Hope you can check back later.

              Re: Component ID

Wanted to get this photo out to you. I will try to draw a little schematic and explain what this is, but until then, this device is part of a circuit which is responsible for switching 5V on/off from a DC module on the power supply board. I need to try to educate myself a little first before I can take a crack at trying to describe any further. It will be simple for you guys, but not so for me. Be back later. Thanks again.
