The tv is a 55C1. The pictures from post #18 are with the C1 main board and TCON. The pictures from post #19 are with the A1 main board and TCON. Hope that clarifies things.

yours Panel Panel Source PCBA PID = XK17005H09A1 same to CI T-CON PCBA PID XK17005H09A1 so the Panel married with its T-CON
A1 T-CON PCBA PID = XK1204Y809B1 not match this why Panel Matching NG

don't use A1 boards at all other wise they will damage.. ... yours issue at cap on panel buffer boards at same area of the lines

I assume the panel buffer boards are between the panel and the metal backplate. In which case, it's not easily accessible. I would be ok to use the tv with the white lines, if I could reverse the discoloration caused by pixel cleaning.

If I got a used C1 TCON board, how can I prevent the pixel cleaning feature from running on it.

don't spend money on used or new or what ever t-con the result are same...
again Pixel refresh bring OLED cells to raw mode.. and now they are raw... so they effected by any dropping of currents caused by caps.
you have 4 ribbon cable.... the area are little open you just need to cut the plate more at this area you will have full access, repair it in professional way so you will have full function with out masking.. the rest all to you i don't have any more to tell.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll attempt to cut the frame and look for bad caps. I'm a little worried I'll damage the ribbon cable in the process.

You should make you to explain how can a panel show almost an entire picture with a shorted supply line (shorted cap)..
