Samsung UE40ES5500 HDMI CALIBRATION FAILURE

Hi all looking for some advice had a samsung 40" led in today which the owner had been into the service menu and messed about .He tried to calibrate the hdmi and it has now come up failure and the colours are all messed up. Any help will be greatly received. I have some photos of service menu if this helps.

What are the main options available on the service menu? Have you checked if the panel option is properly set?

The lvds format is set to jeida and the main options in service mode are:
Option
Control
Svc
Expert (which you can't access)
ADC/wb (this is where he tried to calibrate the hdmi)
Advanced (which I cannot access)

To access Expert or Advanced, try pressing "0" four times over the option.

Read this from another web . wonder it help or not

"If You mess up HDMI Calibration (adc/wb - in service menu) by accident here is a short tip how to quick and successfully re-calibrate HDMI - without any additional device (no pc, dvd, bd, ps3 etc).

In the Service menu go to :

SVC -> TEST PATTERN ->HDMI PATTERN SEL-> set to 7

Fullscreen Checkerboard should appear on Your TV.

Go back to main screen of service menu

Go to ADC/WB->ADC->HDNMI CALLIBRATION... and put left or right arrow on remote.

After few seconds it will end with success.

Tested on ES7000 by vanisz "

Will give it a try tomorrow fingers crossed tried checkerboard off 1080p laptop with no success but here's hoping thanks
