JVC LT32DY8ZJ - dark, red and slow motion image

Hi,

Switched my TV on today, and the image is very dark and in slow motion.

When watching the news for example, peoples faces are red. The image is also ghosting and really slow.

Any ideas?

It seems to be a fairly common problem with these TVs, probably a panel problem; there is a chance it is fixable, though.

TV is 7 years old. Is it worth repairing? What parts are we looking at?

Parts wise, a bit of tape or foam. However, it's more of a time investment. They can't always be fixed, it's a fair bit of work to strip it down. I've done a few 26" Vestel sets which are otherwise similar. Internally, the TV is made by Vestel, and will also be sold under the names of Technika, Digihome, etc.
