    SCART switching trouble

The main TV in my room is now only used to watch DVDs, VHSs and to play on my Wii games console; therefore it needs to be on AV mode all the time.
However, it has a fault where the slightest vibration causes it to switch back to the RF tuner briefly, then switch back to AV. Just walking near the TV, or waving the Wii remote around can cause this switch - as you can imagine, it's really annoying with games!

I've got a video of this happening with a game:

Notice that when I shake the Wii remote about, the TV switches to tuner (which, since there's nothing connected, shows SIGNAL = 0) for a second before switching back to AV. The vibration also carries through to my tripod, but that's another story

I believe the fault lies with the switching pin on the SCART connector; the voltage is briefly interrupted and causes it to switch back and forth. I tried a different SCART lead and that didn't help, so I'm assuming it's the socket.

It could well be a dry or loose solder joint on the socket itself. This particular TV, when opened up, is very hard to get at the base of the board where all the solder pads are - so is there some way I could bodge a repair? Perhaps feed a switching voltage into the TV constantly, so it's not affected by the faulty socket?
Perhaps I could cut the wire that carries the AV switch signal in the SCART plug, then select AV manually with the remote every time I turn it on. But I don't know which pin carries the signal!

    Any more suggestions?
You know there's something wrong when you open your PC and it has vented Rubycons...
