ok so i have changed filter no joy, i must have tested something wrong somewhere or has blown old filter and something else. i have not had chance to test it properly yet. i did test the rocker switch and it tested ok but on closer inspection it looks a bit melted.
when i plug the power cord in i can hear what sounds like a relay click from the area pictured and shorting sound if i can use that term

Need to buy buck regulator MP2329CGG but struggling to find supplier
    by dicky96
    Hi guys
I need one of these MP2329CGG for a repair job. It's a 24V 6.5A buck converter. But I have not been able to find a supplier who has that component.

Actually I would buy a few as I always think if I found one faulty already I will probably find more in the future

I had one supplier on Aliexpress who gave me a price $2 each, but I have been waiting some days since I asked for shipping price and they don't reply

Does anyone know where I can buy that part in small quantity (let's say 5 of them), or any equivalent I could use? it supplies the Standby...

Struggling with a soldering job, need help.
    by Faileng
Hello, although I've never been formally taught soldering techniques, etc... I've not really run into too much trouble soldering, with the exception of this job...

I've got a supposed blown transistor on my fuel pump on my car and I'm trying to replace it. It's a gel encased circuit booard with very fine connections. Please see photo uploaded.

I've cleaned up the area that I'm working on with alcohol scraped off the wires, etc..

I cannot get any solder to now stick any of the connections, I've used various grades of solder and flux combination, nothing...

Need BIOS dump for ASROCK FM2A55M-VG3
    by rockman97
    Hello guys,

I am struggling to find bios BIN file for ASROCK FM2A55M-VG3 (i had the normal VG3 not the VG3+)
When i download from official website, and put that in EZP2019+ programmer software it says ''FILE LENGHT, BEYOND RANGE OR IT WILL BE IGNORED''
That means that file i downloaded is larger than chip says, even tho chip is 8mb and file is 8mb.

It has the Winbond 25Q64FVAIQ chip what i need to select the prgoram?

I created a backup but when i rewrite its not work.

Laptop, Bios and some phones schematic database
    by Dreigas
    Hello,

About a year ago, I was struggling to find schematics whenever I needed them. As a programmer, I saw an opportunity and wrote a few scripts to automatically gather a large database of them. Today, I've decided to share it with everyone, because good things should be accessible to all.

What's included? Over 14,000 laptop schematics, as well as some BIOS files, and about 1,000 phone schematics.

Everything is compressed in a RAR format and is over 140 GB. (Since it's such a large file, your browser might show a warning.)

    I plan to host the...
