    Needed Vizio VO320e video cable

    I'm working on a VO320e that someone else had tried to fix, and I'm in need of the video cable from the main board to the lcd. Apparently the other guy had tried to force it into the UNOPENED connector and buggered it all up.

    I'm located in TN, USA.

      I might have one, but I might have scrapped the remnants already. Post a picture of the entire cable and a closeup of both ends.

                  I more than likely tossed it out with the busted panel. I will look when I get home this afternoon.

                      No dice. Maybe you can expose the copper traces a little further up and clip the damaged ends off.

                          I have a Vizio D32f-E1 LCD TV that does NOT have a TCON board.

                          This TV recently went through some 'death throes' and now won't boot. The first problem that began to manifest was while watching tv, the screen would 'freeze', and the image would dim over a few seconds until it was very dark. HOWEVER, the audio of the show would continue as normal. I could power off the TV for 5-20 seconds, power back on, and the video would be normal. This would occur 1-3 times when the TV was first started, and would not happen again after the TV was 'warmed up'. Not ideal, but this glitch was manageable....

                          Vizio E420VA 5v drops to 3v when power cable is connected

                          Folks, I have a Vizio flat screen that doesn't show any signs of life (and no orange vizio glow either).

                          I tested the voltages from the power board (at the connector) and I can see the 5V supply drops to 3V after the power cable is connected to the main board (5V supply reads as 5V when cable is disconnected from main board). All other rails (12V and 24V) are reading fine.

                          I looked for the usual bloated caps and saw none on either board and no other tell-tall signs (black marks, burned components, etc) on either side of both boards.

                          Given the 5V rail...

                          This is my first posting, so forgive me everyone in advance if I made mistake(s) in my posting.

                          I know there have been much about this plama tv already and I have read through most what I could find. However; I still have not come across any service lit/schematics for this tv. I even looked for the 50PS11 which would be basically relevant other than display size. Anyone know to find the documentation would greatly be appreciated.

                          The issue with this video card is the HDMI port. Specifically on pin 19 (Diode checks on all other pins are normal). When i do a diode check on it from the pin on the board itself, I have nothing. There is also no short on the pin. Resistance reads about 200k. Normally on any HDMI pin 19 I would expect some voltage drop anywhere from .5v to 1.2v but here, I have nothing. The card is operational and can be used via the displayPort ports, but not through the HDMI. Attached you will find the pdf schematics for the card on page 22.
