I don't see anything particularly wrong with that image.

This is a joke? Is a normal shadow graphic effect.

That is just a fake 3D effect. Stylistic choice. I don't see any fault there.

no not a joke the guy that sold me the tv told me the image is fuzzy sometimes and sometimes it is normal. I guess i will hook it up to a cable box first and see if i can get a fuzzy pic.. Sorry i did not know that it was a normal image i thought that was what he was talking about.. i will update when i see the fuzzy image

still working on this tv i finally broke down and bought a board from ebay since my brother procrastinated these past 3 months on it and the new board is worse than the original.. on the above pics it would show solorized imiges hinting on a bad t-con vs lcd panel right? now with the new board i got a white washed screen kinda like that samsung one i posted up a couple months back but if i unplug the tcon i got a normal lit black screen. does that mean the panel is ok? or what is a sure fire easy way to test for a noob with only a dvom as tools?

I recommend you post a picture of your T-con, it is possible you have a GAMMA chip fault (AS15 IC failure) it seems about 9/10 T-cons off eBay also have this fault.

Hey tom nice to see u again.. i am familiar with the as15 ic issue which i tried to replace on my original board myself and ruined the board by causing a solder bridge on some legs then trying to remove it ruined the trace on the pcb lol so i bought this one. if it is bad i will have to return it but i dont want to keep getting boards if its a bad panel which i believe its not. i was just looking for re assurance but i will post a pic of the current screen issue

You can check the gamma voltages, if they don't fall into a nice gamma curve you know you have got a bad board.

Fairly sure that's a gamma fault. To confirm there are some test points to measure.

But we need a clear, focused photo of the far right of the board. We need to be able to see the small text around components.

OK, you need to test on volts DC, the points marked VGAMA1 thru VGAMA22. The TV should be switched on, and the board should be installed, and red probe on the VGAMA point, black on the chassis.

the ranges were all over the places ranging from right to left they went from 15v all the was down to 0.2 volts on the left side

We need the exact voltages, a range of 15V to 0V is not unexpected but it is more important that they are in order and follow a curve.
