    LG 60PC1D plasma no video

    Hey Guys,
I just got my hands on a LG 60PC1D plasma for free from a friend, the unit has audio but fails to come up with a picture. Apparently the Zsus boards are a problem in these TV's. So after cracking the back off I noticed there was a single bulged cap on the Zsus and the large resistors on the top right get scalding hot. I will try to get some pictures up soon. I noticed that when I test across the VS to GND in diode mode it beeps for a few seconds and then quits. So its shorted for a few seconds? Any idea what would cause this? I did notice a LARGE buildup of fluid that seemed to come out of the thermal pads.

Also I sometimes notice a crackle from the Ysus... but lets talk Zsus first. Anyone up to help me with this oddity?

The test on the Vs line is prob. OK--The caps of the board will give that quick beep as they charge on diode-test....

IPM's are trouble in these series sets....

Thanks for the quick reply. I haven't really had any time to look at it since I posted here, but do you know of a good way to test the IPM's in circuit? or I suppose I could desolder them to test out of circuit as well, not too big of a deal with the right tools.
Do you have any idea why the resistors would be getting so hot?

Will get on those pics later today

Quick update: I actually got to take some pics of the boards.

The resistors at the top of the Zsus are what's concerning me the most. Is it possible to repair/replace the IPMs on these boards or will I need to replace the whole boards?
