Re: Samsung PS43D490 clicking when powered on no display
The main board I was using to test was slightly different revision to the original, same model number BN41-01761A but was missing a bga chip and also a cable connector so was not suitable as a permanent solution was hoping to use that to repair the original main board, couldnt work out which was the eeprom, I have replaced one in past on a different tv which was on reverse of board but not so on this one, so I ordered a replacement main board of ebay hopefully it cures the issue, thrown more money on this set than I would have hoped to ( at least I have a spare y and x main in case it happens again). Could the mainboard have caused the x-main to pop or vice versa?
