I noticed when removing the back of the tv that two caps where bulged the tv was dead before this, upon changing the caps the tv now turns on.I have back light and the screen is on but just audio no picture

Any help would be appreciated

Checked t-con fuse? Any OSD?

Ok for some reason the tcon was disconnected upon connecting it the right side of the screen is fine but the left side has flashing colours

Looks like a bad panel to me, sorry. Small chance T-con FRC is bad, or one LVDS to T-con is loose.

FRC is that board in between main and t-con. It generates 100Hz video.

I think someone could have ripped you off by pulling t-con cable out?

Don't strip it for parts immediately man; spend a few minutes diagnosing it! :P

You can try cleaning all LVDS and T-con cables. Then check top t-con cables are seated properly. Check panel is not damaged (water/moisture) by taking frame off, as a last resort.

Is that how far you've got? Try checking for contamination on panel ribbon; check ribbon seated, see if it's getting too hot. But does look like another bad panel to me. Crazy, crazy.
