SAMSUNG UE58MU6122 dump file needed

Dear Community,

I have a Samsung UE58MU6122 with no power LED.

I checked the PSU, all output voltages are present so it's probably good.

Doing some research I found that the corruption of the SPI memory chip can cause this problem and the TV started acting like this after a power outage.

Can somebody please provide a dump file so I can flash it to the IC?

1. Click "Detect Chip" and select W25Q40CL and "Select IC".
2. Click "Unprotect".
3. Click "Clear IC" and "Yes".
4. Click "Open File" and select your corrected dump.
5. Press "Program IC" and "Yes".
6. Click "Verify IC".
7. Press the down arrow to the right of "Unprotect" and select "SREG Edit", put a check mark on SRP0, BP1, CMP, QE and press "Write" and "Yes"
7. Close the program. Ready.

I don't need IC1603, it's mainly IC1604 that suffers, I fixed it for you, try it, don't forget to set and write status register (0x88, 0x42) after recording my dump!

The TV turns on now as soon as I plug in the power cord, but it doesn't display anything. Black light on but black screen.

It should not be. Have you tried to record something in ic1604 before (were there any experiments with it)? How did you record the dump through a clothespin or solder the chip through an adapter on the programmer? This happens if the dump software does not match the emmc software (that is, they have different software versions). Did you do anything with ic1603 or left it as is?

I only saved (extract) the content of the two ICs I did not experiment with other bin files other than yours. I always desolder the IC, then solder it to a adapter which connects to the CH341A.

Read this dump from 25q40 again and post it here again, I'll see what's written there. During dismantling and installation, nearby SMD resistors were not damaged or moved out of their seats.

I erased the IC and reflashed it with your fixed bin file in neoprogrammer (instead of asprogrammer) and it worked!
