    Samsung Plasma PN51E530A3F; LJ41-10170A

    Working on the board below:

    Model No. 51EHF_XYM
    PCB No. LJ41-10170A
    PBA No. LJ92-01867A

There is a short between ground and the Vs pins. I assume that shouldn't be there.

Currently I've found 2 popped components:
    Q5009 (AO4620; MOSFET N/P-CH 30V 5A/7A 8SOIC)
    C5007 (unknown value capacitor)

I've removed both and still have a short. So 2 questions:
    1. Is there a specific place I should start my search?
    2. Would voltage injection work in this situation?
    3. Bonus question: any shot someone has a schematic for this board?

    Thanks!

If you have a short between VS and ground it means:
All YS IGBTs are shorted, and their respective diodes
All YG IGBTs are shorted, and their respective diodes
Other MOSFETS might be shorted too, such as the YFR/YFF ones

Check the X-Board too for shorts too, it's in series with the Y-SUS Board, so any issues there can affect the other board.

I would recommend buying replacement boards, cant really find proper IGBT replacements unless you rip them out from a good board.

Did you happen to find the value for capacitor C5007?

I've got the same board with that cap completely blown off. I really need to find the value if possible.
