When I pull the PWM pin from the connector and turn the TV on I get 5.2v on Pin 27. Here are two pictures of the screen with the backlight lit up. I guess one could be starting to fail but not showing outwards symptoms yet.{"data-align":"none","data-size":"full","title":"20240301_103451.jpg","data-attachmentid":3226619}[/A...

Backlight turns on when PSU is plugged in to mains but not connected to the main board.
Voltage measurements on the connector between PSU and main board.
1: .894v
3: 5.2v
5: 0v
7: 12.65v
9: 0
11: 0
13: 5.1v
15: 5.1v
17: 0v
19: 12.1v
21: 12.1v
23: 5.1v (Blon/Inv on/off)
25: 3.3v (PWM)
27: -.031v

Yes, everything works as normal when it is hooked up the way it is supposed to except for the backlight (only get a quick flash).

Component Identification: 355E C09E Samsung Tab A8 SM-X200
Trying to identify this component. It is on the mainboard in a Samsung Tab A8 SM-X200. It is in the top left corner of the bottom picture (only black IC). I have found a similar looking chip on Alibaba but its 355C or 355D. I figured it might be from the same manufacturer but I can't find the manufacture name anywhere. Thanks!

Samsung LN52B750U1FXZA - Backlight Issue
Hello All!
So here is the issue I am having. When everything is plugged in as normal, the TV turns on and I get a quick flash of the backlight. After that the backlight never turns back on but the rest of the TV works fine. If I pull the PWM pin from the cable between the main board and power board the backlight turns on and the tv works "normally". If it is plugged in I get nothing. I did do a factory reset but that didn't solve my issue. When everything is plugged in normally I get .6v at start up and continues rise over about 10 seconds. (~.6v then ~.8v then ~1.8v...

Samsung Plasma PN51E530A3F; LJ41-10170A
Working on the board below:
Model No. 51EHF_XYM
PCB No. LJ41-10170A
PBA No. LJ92-01867A
There is a short between ground and the Vs pins. I assume that shouldn't be there.
Currently I've found 2 popped components:
Q5009 (AO4620; MOSFET N/P-CH 30V 5A/7A 8SOIC)
C5007 (unknown value capacitor)
I've removed both and still have a short. So 2 questions:
1. Is there a specific place I should start my search?
2. Would voltage injection work in this situation?
3. Bonus question: any shot someone has a schematic...

Re: Xbox One Power Issue
Woops! I forgot I poster on here.
Yes, the fan actually starts up when I press the power button.
It also will turn on for a split second when I first plug the console in. The light on the power supply turns white for a couple seconds, the fan spins up, then the light turns orange again. It'll do this like 3 times before turning completely off. Then I press the power button, fan spins up and a second or two later the console chimes off.

Xbox One Power Issue
Hoping to get some troubleshooting ideas from you all. Unless someone has had this problem before and knows the solution.
The issue:
I press the power button or eject button to turn on the unit. The xbox turns on and plays its start up chime then probably 1-2 seconds later the unit plays the chime again and turns off. It does this no matter how I turn the unit on.
All the videos and issues I've seen online deal with the unit turning on but then just shutting off but without any noise, etc. Mine seems to be actually shutting itself down properly but only a couple...

Re: Samsung LN52B750U1FXZA - Standby Light - No Other Power
Ok I'm back with a new problem with the same TV. I am just writing back on this same thread since it already has pictures and info about all the boards.
The powerboard is: BN44-00287A
Would love a schematic if someone has one for this board.
So new problem:
The problem first was that I was only getting a picture for about 2 seconds. When first turned on everything is on and at full brightness. 1 second later the image dims about 50% and a second after that the screen and...

Re: Samsung LN52B750U1FXZA - Standby Light - No Other Power
I am a little confused.
When the entire main board is unplugged the backlight turns on and stays on. No incoming voltage to INV or PS.
When both the PS_ON and INV are unplugged but everything else is plugged in the backlight stays on. No incoming voltage to INV or PS.
If I supply the INV with 5v the backlight remains on but if I plug the power cable to the INV it turns off. If I keep the INV unplugged but plug the PS_ON back in then the backlight flashes on and off but...

Re: Samsung LN52B750U1FXZA - Standby Light - No Other Power
With PS_ON/OFF unplugged from the main board and having a 1k resistor jumping from 5.3v STBY to PS_ON/OFF pin and 1k resistor going from 5.3v STBY to INV ON/OFF (with INV ON/OFF unplugged from main board) the backlight turns on but that is it. I am getting about 5.2v through both resistors but nothing happens. If I take the resistors off and leave the PS and INV unplugged there is no difference. Backlight stays lit but no other signals from the TV.
