    LG 50PV350T: Sound Muffled

    There is sound but it is more like noise that covers the vocal. The main av board is: eax63902502 (1).

    I have never dealt with sound issues before so not sure where to start. Can anyone share some pointers.

      Check sound settings in user menu. Check Clear Voice, etc. Can you record a sample of what it sounds for us to listen to?

          could be bad ripple from caps,going into the sound chip,you have a scope?
          fixed so far...376 lg lcd tv's,24 onn tv;s,24 panasonic lcd,16 jvc lcd,12 marshall jcm800 amps,refurb of various disco equipment lighting,old style disco decks ,and a flymo!

          please let us know if everything works ok if your tv gets fixed, as it will be and aid for anyone else having the same problem and wishing to fix it.it would save people clogging up this site with topics that are duplicated,and can be found easily using the search function.,and taking up valuable space.enjoy your fixed tv!,hopefully!

              Thanks! I have checked settings on TV but same issues. I do not have a scope.

                  Good day ladies and gentleman!

                  I am currently trying to repair a Grundig Vision 9 37 9880 T USB LCD TV for a friend that has a weird audio problem. Basically everything works fine except for the heavily distorted sound when the Subwoofer module is connected and there is a buzzing sound coming from the PSU PCB.

                  This seems to be a rather rare TV so there is not much prior on topic help to be found however a service manual is available at the usual sources (Electro Tanya i.e.).

                  I think the PSU buzzing comes from one of the coils near the bridge rectifier but...

                  Hello to the forum.

                  My name is Christos, I am new to the forum here and i am posting from Greece.

                  So i have this old German sound card from Marian, called Trace Alpha. To be exact i have 2 of them and i use them professionally for my small FM radio station here. The first one works like a charm, but the second one does not work at all.

                  To be more specific in the same exact pc with windows 7 (i even tried 32bit) the one works while the other doesn't.
