Samsung 4K - I moved it and now it's pooched

    Hi guys!

I have a Samsung 4K QN49Q6FAM in my RV. The front windshield was leaking a little (just the odd drop) and it was landing on the front of the screen so I picked it up and moved it. Since then, as soon as you plug it in the backlight comes on and then it restarts, the backlight comes on, and it restarts. In other words, it's re-booting continually and there is no display.

I took the rear cover off, no signs of moisture period. And when I looked at it more closely, it's pretty near impossible that any water got in it.

This makes me think I wrecked it by moving it. Any ideas? The two boards look good, it does power up, the backlight does come on, but no display and endless reboots. I did notice that one bottom corner has what looks like ink bleed. I suspect I might have pressed on it leading me to believe I may have wrecked it

is it possible to upload a photo of the area on the lcd that your concerned about, from what you are describing it does sound like possible panel damage

I managed to get a photo of it - see attached. All it does when you plug it in is flash the back light repeatedly. No picture.

Panel is busted. Samsungs rebooting means panel is toast. It's blinking 2x red yes?

It blinks every time it restarts, I think. So two reds, then a pause and then restart. Something like that. There was a vertical line on the far right side of the screen at one point. All I did was move it. I thought I was careful.

It's dead. Take the board out the back and put em on eBay and throw it in the trash
