Elonex Lumina 32" Flickers and doesnt come on

I have a friends 32" Elonex Lumina TV/PC combined media center . As soon as I plug it in to the mains it powers on, no standby . The screen backlights flicker on and of for a while and then starts calming down and eventually stays blank. I have inspected the SMPS visually and see nothing wrong, but audibly I can hear what I can only describe as crackling, like popping candy. It sounds as though it is coming from the transformers area but I'm not 100% sure. I checked the 24v to the inverter and also a 6v to the mainboard and they seem to be fluctuating in sync with the crackling. The voltages are fluctuating, the 24v varies anywhere between 20v and 25v and again the 6v is fluctuating 2-6v. I was hoping someone might have heard this crackling problem before and be able to advise me what it might be or what I can try next. My experience with electronics is very little but I'd love to learn more. The model number of the SMPS is PV-LT180032HA, the same as an Electrograph DTS32LTD

MacBook Pro A1707 Motherboard Diagnostic Help – CD3215 heating and Fluctuating Rails
    by Cemal Odabasioglu
    Hello everyone,

I'm currently diagnosing a MacBook Pro A1707 motherboard that does not power on. I've gathered some data but am stuck and need expert advice.
Note that i'm a beginner in electronics and i'm trying to learn while trying to repair this macbook that my work gave me. I'm really curious and love understanding how thing works and i already learned so much.

Only one usb c port is taking 20v and have 12.5v on PPBUS_G3H. when trying other ports, 2 are not going to 20v and one is going to 20v but the CD3215 is getting really hot.

    Observations...

ONN 100012588 Has fluctuating Voltage on PSU 12v
    by triplefour
Hello all got another TV here im puzzled by. why cant they all be easy fixes that just need a little love and some tape???

anyway i go to this guys house to look at an ONN 100012588
this is my first time looking at one of these brand of TV's.
TBH i have low expectations because i see ONN as the cheap walmart brand that suddenly popped up selling the cheapest version of all kinds of tech things. and someone sent me a ONN flash drive with some data on it with some recordings they wanted me to check out and it immediately broke and corrupted the data and i was unable to...

Wine Chiller - SMPS issue - fluctuating voltages
    by beetle1303
My wine chiller, TECNO SW-126LCD, is semi-functional - it powers up, can set temperature, and chilled to the set temperature, and cuts off compressor, etc. It however runs very hot.

Upon taken out the PSU and did some basic check - 5V output to LCD panel buttons and display is stable, but there is no 12V output to LED lights, and fans.

Further checks found the secondary side voltage is fluctuating around 8-15V range, but the 7805 regulator seems ok and producing the stable 5V output.

Checking further on the primary side: Incoming line input to bridge...

LG 23MP55HQ LED Monitor turns off after a few seconds or flickers.
    by Rick_1234
    Good evening, gentlemen.

I have a problem with my monitor. It turns off after a few seconds or flickers. Shining a flashlight on the screen doesn't show any image, so I guess it's not the "2 seconds to dark" I read in the forum.

To turn it back on, I have to press the power button twice. Then after a few seconds it turns off again or flickers. See video.

Philips 46PFL8007K/12 - Picuture flickers on half of the screen
    by Capacitorial
    Hello guys.

I recently got a TV that has the following problems:
    1. Sometimes it has to be turned on and off a few times, to boot up. Sometimes it starts from the first try
    2. When it is running normally, the right side of the screen flickers. Sometimes it is just a square of transparent white maybe a 1/3 of the right half (top right)
    3. The flicker is also sometimes a square that is filled with lines
    4. I noticed that when the TV brightness is set to max, it flickers less. I think the Standard setting is the worst where it comes more frequent
    5. When it runs a few minutes it gets better,
