    Sharp LC32GD8E parts TXA026 TXA027 info needed

    Hi all,
I am having a trouble with this set as it requires about 22 watts electrical power when in standby but working fine. Standby to normal is instantaneous (less than a second).
When the power button of the set is at OFF position, the power supply delivers all voltages except inverter + 24volts and power consumption is almost zero watt.
Checked all the set according to the maintenance manual. Found that the PCON1 and PCON2 signals coming from the main board are both present at standby. Surprizing for me as they are used separately to turn on supplies in the PSU and Main board ?
Does anyone know if I am wrong ? Any idea ?
By the way, when studying the PSU functions, I found circuits labeled TXO026WJ and TXA037WJ but I cannot fing any datasheet or pinout for these.
Please provide me any information you have about these parts (6 pins transistor IC's as it seems).
    Thanks in advance for support.
    Regards.
    Jean

This is normal for these sets, I have the LC-32DH66E.

Basically they have a Quick Start option which means the main board stays on 24/7 but turns on instantly when you press the power button.

You can turn it off, and the set will revert to true standby after a few minutes. It takes about 6 seconds to turn on with the Quick Start disabled. Not really worth the extra power TBH.

It's in the Option menu I believe.

      Hi Tom,
Thanks for the info. I check in the options but did not find anything.
I tried invoking the service menu to reset the set to factory (Clear EEB ON, factory reset to France and Inch option to 32) and when the set powered again, the standby now works as expected. In fact the relay clicks ON and OFF with the Remote power button, it was not clicking before but with the set Power button. Now the standby to normal takes about 6 seconds as you said.

I will try to see if there is an option somewhere for this quick start.

Any info on the TXA026 and TXA037 ? Just for my ubderstandinng of the PSU functionning ?

      Thanks for your help.
