hi just thought maybe someone could help or steer me in the right direction. I have pdp50x Toshiba the set turns on fine. after 5 to 10 min it shuts down .I can immediately turn it back on. it just continues this over and over. could this be a control board or ysus board. thanks:

yeah that's what the inside panel says. back has 50hp66 sorry. I had the back off and that's the no. inside.Comment

It doesn't sound like a sustain issue. You'd normally have sound and a faulty picture if you had a sustain issue on this set. Does the light on the front of the TV flash when it shuts down? I'm thinking it's a PSU issue. Since you've taken off the cover, I take it you haven't noticed any bad caps on the PSU, correct?Last edited by capkid; 09-04-2013, 11:23 AM.Comment
