    Re: Samsung LN40B630N1F PSU Problem

I'm assuming those readings are on 200 or 2000 ohm or similar scale. Your parts are very failed. Replacing them should resolve the issue. Check the small SMD parts next to them for damage too.

      Hello,

My Samsung LN40B630N1F has the same issue, same fuse goes dead each time I replace it. I'd like to fix it as a spare TV, but I am a kind of newbie in electricity, just the basic ...

I have a few question for the moment :
      - How to remove safely the board ? i mean I plug it, capacitors are maybe charge and I do not want to do more damages.
      - How to I test this

At the very least if you posted pictures of your boards so that we could see the components you are referring to then I'm sure someone could advise you. Do you have a multi-meter and do you know how to use it.
Willing to help but I'm no expert.

Thanks for the prompt answer. I have the exact same symptoms that the initial post of this thread (same model, same dead fuse) and I'd like to perform the same troubleshooting.

Here is the picture. I circle in red the dead fuse and highlight in yellow the 2 parts replaced by landyboy :

edit : Yes I have a multi, and ... should be able to remember how to use it (college is a bit far)
