    Samsung LED UN55D6000

    Hi,

i bought my samsung tv about 1.6 years ago and all of the sudden this week half of the screen's colors started to fade. It is constant and it doesnt go away no matter what source i am using.

Any advise on what it could be?

Any help would be appreciated. I have attached the pictures showing whats going on..

Quite likely a bad LCD panel, probably tab bonds so may be fixable.
      Symptoms vary, one example:

did you ever figure this out? Our TV just started doing the same exact thing. Not really happy since the TV isn't even two years old, we didn't use it much, etc. Let me know!
        Thanks

Thats definitely interesting. X2 on panel ribbon connections. Yoy could try reseating them but I dont know if its going to help in this particular case.
Did I leave the soldering iron on?

In another thread we are dealing with D6420 and they seem to have bad panels, maybe the D series is plagued with bad panels.
Maybe that is how it start going south. It can be the gamma chip is starting to fail and then damages the driver chip in the tab?
I have an old Samsung TV with blown gamma chip and the half screen is damaged.
