    samsung pn51d450 x main

    Hello,
I have a samsung plasma that is showing signs of a bad x main board. It has the typical pixelation/dim screen symptoms. When cold, half the screen is black, it slowly dissipates as it warms up but never fully goes away. The unusual symptom is that a black "hump" exists with no pixels on the bottom right of the picture approx 6" X 3" that distorts the picture immediately around it. I can t find anyone with a similar black "hump" symptom.
    Ever seen this?

I can't expand your image, but that is pretty much the symptom of a bad X-main. Very strange that your set still works. It is rare for the TV to stay on when the X-main goes bad because there is an error detect on Samsung plasmas for the X-main.

Would a faulty x main explain the black distortion on the lower part of the screen?

Any recommendations on where to purchase the board?

      Thanks

Yes, the whole panel does not always sustain properly with a bad X-main. Other symptoms include a purple/maroon tint, blurryness on fast movements, and a static field of "stuck" pixels over objects like the menu. However, I do have to say, your problem does look like gas leakage, which could mean there is a small crack in the panel. Before purchase of the X-main, inspect the panel carefully for cracks.

Places to buy: ShopJimmy, eBay... also try searching Google. Look for the LJ9x-xxxxxx[A-Z] number on your board. You've got to match that up. Don't order by an LJ4x number.

I have thoroughly looked over the panel and it seems to be fully intact. No damage that I can see. With gas leakage it would be correct to assume that the black area would grow?

Help Needed: Samsung UE55MU8000 Dead - Possible Main Board Issue
            by Asraf Atb
            Hi everyone,

Im looking for some advice regarding my Samsung UE55MU8000 TV with main board model BN94-11606C. The TV suddenly stopped turning on and now shows no signs of life at all not even the standby light at the bottom.

Initially, I suspected an issue with the PSU, so I took it to a repair center. They tested it and confirmed that the PSU works perfectly, even on other TVs. Based on that, I started investigating the main board.

I disconnected the main board from the PSU, and the backlight turned on, which seems to confirm the main board is the issue....

Compatibility of main boards between different variations of samsung MU6100
            by JSin21
            Hoping someone here could possibly help. I have a few questions in regards to compatibility with main boards. But I'll give a quick short run down on what's going on first;

I have Samsung Smart TV UA65MU6100WXXY version DA01

Now years ago it started intermittently playing up after a lighting strike. Lighting hit the block of units i was living in at the time. Ever since that night the TV started having a mind of its own, It would randomly turn itself off or on, and all inputs stopped responding like HDMI, aerial, but USB still worked. Anyway, over the next few months...

Samsung TV UN75H6350AFXZC main board schematics?
            by mrautom8
Schematics for the main board needed please. Sticker on board states BN94-07517A but the silkscreen says BN41-02157B. Cant find here or anywhere on the web.

Backlights work when main boards disconnected. When connected and power button switched, the relay on the PSU board turns on for one second then back off.
While relay is on, all voltage rails are present and steady (scoped) on main board.
I love a good logic puzzle but getting lost without any schematics.
No shorts on ANY capacitor main board.
Thermal camera shows 3.3V inductor getting warm instantly but...

Compatibility of Samsung Y Main boards LJ92-01732A no rev vs rev AA2
            by Yanleb
Hi, I did look everywhere to know if Samsung Y Main boards LJ92-01732A without rev marking is compatible with LJ92-01732A rev AA2.

If they are not compatible why did Samsung give them the same part number to begin with?
