I have a Samsung LCD model LNT4665FX/XAC that is 5 years old and started have problems a few months ago turning on and now, I cannot get started. It used to click on and off for a few minutes before turning on. This got progressively worse until it now does so indefinitely. I was about to throw it out until I started reading online that it was a common problem and that the potential fix was relatively cheep. I have absolutely no experience replacing capacitors or soldering but am somewhat handy. I have removed the back cover of the tv and have found a total of 3 capacitors that look like they are leaking. One is rather obvious and the other 2 are somewhat subtle. The middle capacitor in the series of 5 is the obvious one, also the one right to its left looks like it is leaking a bit. Finally, the far left one in the middle row has a slight leak as well. The board is a Hansol model SIP460A and the capacitors are Samwha. The last one I mentioned is 1000 uF 10V and I am assuming the other 2 are as well but I can not read them as they are too close to the other capacitors on the board. From what I understand, the fix is removing the board, removing the capacitors in question and replacing them with new (better) ones. As I am new to this, any guidance would be immensely appreciated.

Re: Samsung TV clicks on and off but wont stay on
Those are definitely the fault and likely the cause of the problem.
List the capacitance and voltage rating of each capacitor e.g. 1000uF 25V.
Best to buy from Digikey ($3 shipping) or Mouser (I think $8 shipping?) Total cost should be under $10 with Digikey.
Do not buy from RadioShack, Fry's, etc. as the capacitors they sell are insufficient for use in LCD TV power supplies. Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

If you are new to this forum, we can help a lot more if you please post clear focused pictures (max resolution 2000x2000 and 2MB) of your boards using the manage attachments button so they are hosted here. Information and picture clarity compositions should look like this post.
We respectfully ask that you make some time and effort to read some of the guides available for basic troubleshooting. After you have read through them, then ask clarification questions or report your findings.
